I have had this headset for about a year. During that time, people complain that they can't hear me and ask me to speak up. At the same time, if there is any noise at all around me, it drowns out the incoming audio. From time to time, it randomly disconnects from my Razor V3 for no apparent reason and then will reconnect a few minutes later. If I happen to walk out of the room, out of the headset's range, it will disconnect and to reconnect I have to either turn the headset off and back on or go into the phone's connection menu and repair the phone and the headset. Pony up a little more money and by a Jawbone instead.

SuSE Linux is the oldest commercial distro of Linux, and they prove again why people are willing to pay for something that they can essentially get for free. SuSE 9.2 Pro puts Fedora Core, Mandrake, Slackware, Debian and the others to shame in every aspect.



Hardware support I found to be excellent, there was nothing that didn't detect or work correctly. YaST made it easy to choose what to install and they give you tons of options, more than WindowsXP could ever dream of giving you.



While i'm not a big fan of Gnome, Novell makes it look pretty good and surprisingly nice to use. KDE is in it's natural and beautiful state and the easy of use is pretty good.



Don't buy into the people who write 1-star reviews of this product claiming that SuSE destroyed all their data on install. If you don't know what you're doing you should not use this, period. Hold nobody accountable for yourself if you screw things up.

The abstract provided by the Pentagon follows: Sensors are being used in many industrial and military applications. The most common ones are temperature and pressure sensors. Communicating with sensors has long been limited either to wired connections between the sensing element and the control station or to expensive, proprietary wireless communications protocols. The emerging Bluetooth technology enables fast, efficient sensor communication, which eliminates wired connections and the associated manual tasks of initiating, checking, and changing sensor connections. It will be useful for a broad range of data-acquisition, measurement, control, monitoring, and similar applications. Bluetooth products currently available in the market support many usage models such as printer, headset, etc. This thesis discusses and investigates the feasibility of interfacing sensors with Bluetooth modules by using off-the-shelf components. A prototype interface board was developed and connected to a Bluetooth module. Testing results showed that it is viable to implement Bluetooth-based wireless sensors for shipboard applications.
